HAZEL
DELL WOODS
SWIMMING POOL
RULES AND REGULATIONS
The
following rules are designed to help make the Hazel Dell
Woods community swimming pool a safe and healthy place for
recreation.
There will be NO LIFEGUARDS staffing the
pool. You are responsible for your own safety as well as
the safety of your family and guests. When swimming, you
must be aware that there is always a risk of drowning. The
pool is a potential safety hazard. CAUTION IS ADVISED.
Please abide by the following POOL RULES when
using the pool:
1.) Always shower before using the pool
(required by the Indiana State Board of Health).
2.) Pool hours of operation are between
7:00 A.M. and sunset each day. The pool will be accessible
by electronic key card only.
3.) The pool will be available for Hazel
Dell Woods residents and guest use from Memorial Day weekend
through Labor Day weekend.
4.) No running, pushing, or any type of
dangerous or noisy behavior (including excessively loud
radios or music players) is permitted in the pool area.
5.) No diving into the pool is allowed.
Please use the steps or the ladders.
6.) Guests must be accompanied at all
times by an adult Hazel Dell Woods resident.
7.) No smoking, alcoholic beverages, or
glass containers of any kind are allowed in the fenced
pool deck area. Waste food shall be sealed before disposal
to reduce insect problems. Please place all trash in the
available receptacles.
8.) Persons having a contagious or
infectious health condition shall not use the pool.
9.) Infants and toddlers shall not be
allowed to enter the large pool without an adult. Infants
and toddlers shall wear watertight plastic pants over
diapers in the pools. Diapers alone shall not be worn in
the pools.
10.) Incidents of fecal activity in a pool
shall be reported immediately to Indianapolis Pool
Management (317-821-8031) or the Hamilton County Health
Department (776-8500) so that immediate chlorinating can
begin to reduce pool closure time. The pool will remain
closed a minimum of 48 hours after a fecal accident is
reported.
11.) No pets are allowed in the fenced
pool area or in the pools themselves.
12.) Children under 14 years of age must
be accompanied by an adult (over age 18) when in the pool
area. Children with baby sitters under age 18 shall not
enter the pool area without a supervising adult over age 18
present.
13.) Pool toys, rafts, noodles, clothing,
balls, etc. shall not be left in the pools or on the pool
deck after hours. These items create a maintenance problem
and will be removed and disposed of daily.
Please contact an Association Board member or
the Noblesville Police Department (776-1300), if you notice
any mechanical malfunction of pool equipment, improper
behavior, acts of vandalism, use of alcoholic beverages, or
unauthorized persons loitering at the pool.
The cooperation of your family members is
required to insure that the Hazel Dell Woods pool is a safe
and healthy recreation area. Please contact an Association
Board Member with questions or comments. |
